I later left SLS and co-founded Vocology in Practice, serving as Education Director for a year. Alongside that I trained teachers for BAST (Be A Singing Teacher) and completed my MA in Music. I was then headhunted to develop the BA in Musical Theatre at the Institute for the Arts Barcelona, spent a year lecturing there, and returned to LIPA for a further year - twelve years at LIPA in total, across both stints.

My training hasn't stopped since. I've studied under leading vocologists Ingo Titze, Karin Cox and Marco Guzman, trained in Laryngeal Massage, and studied vocal pathology under laryngologist Reena Gupta - work that sits alongside my certification as a Vocal Health First Aider. I eventually left Higher Education to build my own practice. Today I direct the Liverpool Community Choir and the Over The Water A Cappella Choir, and serve as Education Director at Modern Vocal Training, where I've helped train the organisation's 700-plus teachers worldwide. That role also takes me abroad to run masterclasses and teacher training workshops - most recently in Thailand, Singapore and Mumbai. Whatever stage you're at, I've spent 23 years learning how to listen to a voice properly before I ever try to change it.
